Guv’s Legitimacy Resource Changes Mod
I don’t know if this is just me, but does Yuan Shu ever do anything ever? His faction mechanics are very interesting indeed, but the effects are rather boring plus the AI have no idea how to play it smart as far as I’ve seen. Legitimacy is a good resource that can be hard or easy to farm depending on situation, and unfortiunantely it will also cost you when aquiring new Nobles. Yuan Shu has also one of the game’s hardest start positions and I figured that it’s now his time to get a chance!
- Changed some details to the Legitimacy resource bonuses from stages. Made it slightly more punishing to be at the bottom and increased the amount you need to reach Revered stage.
- Added Legitimacy bonus increase for AI only.
The AI now gains an effect bundle at the start of the game. It does as follows: "Legitimacy +8 per turn".
Here’s a total overview what I have added to the Legitimacy resource stages, if the pictures weren’t clear enough:
Legitimacy Level 1: Irrelevant
Added "-5 satisfaction"
Added "-1% replenishment (factionwide)"
Legitimacy Level 2: Acknowledged
Added "+2% replenishment (factionwide)"
Added "+5% income from all sources"
Legitimacy Level 3: Regarded
Added "+5% replenishment (factionwide)"
Increased Income from all sources from 10% to 12%
Legitimacy Level 4: Revered
Added "-50% desire for higher office (all characters)"
Added "Enables: Disciplined (factionwide)"
Added "+10% replenishment (factionwide)"
The mod should be savegame compatible, but I doubt the +10 legitimacy will follow.
