Description
Located in Argentine Patagonia, on the border with Chile, the Perito Moreno Glacier is an important tourist destination. It is one of the 48 glaciers of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the third largest fresh water reserve in the world.
It will be a challenge to set up infrastructure, as the map is divided in three landmasses separated by a 2 kilometer wide lake. The western and northern parts do not have access to foreign rail and electricity, while the southeastern part has two medium border crossings.
