Spearfish Fast Attack Craft
With a formidable stand-off range GPS guided surface-to-surface missile system and turreted deck gun, the Spearfish is a versatile platform for shore bombardment and brown water patrol. Reaching an elevation of 80° with free 360° traverse, the foredeck-mounted autocannon represents a credible threat to low flying helicopters and allows for on-the-move fire against surface combatants. The Spearfish emphasizes first-strike firepower and mobility, with only the minimum necessary armor cladding a fiberglass and aluminum hull. This lightweight construction allows a relatively shallow draft, in turn permitting navigation of narrow straits and inshore waters.
While capable of providing both substantial indirect and direct fire support while operating solo, the Spearfish is equipped with a suite of RADAR, IR, and optical sensors and communications antennas compatible with several turn-key C2I solutions, allowing the Spearfish to integrate seamlessly into littoral task forces and joint missions. In response to customer interest, down-gunned variants suitable for coast guard and police usage have been produced as well. Whether the mission is establishing an amphibious beachhead, striking at high value surface vessels, assisting the enforcement of no-fly zones, or intercepting contraband in territorial waters, the Spearfish won’t let you down.
