Description:

That’s right, the thrilling 4-player coop character has joined Rivals. Their whole moveset is taken from Phasmophobia. Because of this, playing Phasmophobia Ghost Hunter is more like playing a different game. Please read the tutorial in practice mode to get a better understanding of how to use his tools.

This character was designed to play much differently than most normal characters, (it was made from the workshop jam, what else would you expect?). Ghost Hunter is kind complicated, but easy to play once you get the hang of him. I suggest going into practice mode to view the tutorial. Press taunt during practice mode to view the tutorial.

To quickly sum up GH’s gimmicks, he has a sanity meter. The percentage of sanity he has equals the amount of soft armor he has. For example if he has 53% sanity, he has 53 soft armor. If he is hit, he loses 4% sanity.

If the requirements for Nspecial, Fspecial, and Dspecial are filled, a Ghost Hunt starts. While in Hunt Mode, GH has increased movement and actual kill options for a limited time. You can increase the time you spend in Hunt Mode by completing objectives. They are listed in the tutorial.

Honestly, the main idea of this character is to make you feel like how you would playing a horror game: Defenseless and scared. Phasmophobia Ghost Hunter makes you pay attention to what is happening, what the opponent is doing, and how to avoid them. Sure, he isn’t made to be legal, but he’s made to be an experience.
