AgustaWestland AW280 Vulture
DESCRIPTION

The fictional AgustaWestland AW280 "Vulture" is a high-speed transport/utility compound helicopter designed by AgustaWestland as an entry within the HSUH competition (High Speed Utility Helicopter) set by the Newquay Navy for a new high-speed helicopter to supplement their fleet of AW260s for fast transit insertion in a hot zone. Requirements of the HSUH was for the capability to get within a landing zone & out as fast as possible, as well as be highly modular & utilitarian in design to allow for different missions to be carried out. It is currently undergoing development and is to be tested within the Newquay Navy in the coming years as part of the HSUH program.

Upper Panel:
– BATTERY RELAY [ON]

Lower Panel:
– MFD POWER [ON]
– RADAR POWER [ON]
– ENGINE THROTTLE RPS 50 [OPTIONAL, 50RPS IS MOST EFFICIENT]
– TAKE OFF AT 5.5RPS
FEATURES:
– Autopilot.
– Altitude Hold.
– Autohover.
– Automatic winch if a player falls out (requires remote control on them.)
– Remote Controllable. (RC CHANNEL IS 0, PRESS 1 TO TAKE CONTROL)
– 8000l+ fuel, 2 hours flight time hovering, 1 hour flight time cruise mode.
– 400km range.
– MFD System including map, radar, gimbal camera & engine information.
– Load carrying winch (and static hardpoints) as well as a harness with precision mode to supplement it.
– Non-cruise speed of 90 knots.
– High speed cruise mode (290 knots, Max Throttle: 330 knots)
– Maintenance hatches throughout to allow for easy repair.
– Seats 14 people overall.
– Capable of carrying 2 fuel tanks or 2 AGM-16C "Squirrels"
– Automatic heating

– Very high RPS will make the helicopter shake itself without a heavy load attached.
– W/S controls speed in cruise mode
