HVP-3 Fulmar Patrol Hovercraft

DESCRIPTIONWith the introduction the ABP-2 "Robin" Patrol Airboat, the NQAF were given an ability of providing patrol and reconnaissance to a variety of different landscapes inaccessible to a boat. However, a large capability gap was also shown via the ABP-2, its inability to both traverse land & water limited it to what it was capable of, this proved especially apparent when navigating small lakes/swamps where differences in water level could lead to damage to the airboats.
Therefore the HVP series of hovercraft begun development to fill in this capability gap, beginning with the HVP-1 and eventually the production model: The HVP-3. The "Fulmar" as named is capable of traversing both land and sea with ease while having the ability to defend both itself and provide a valid escort with its double BGM-6 Launchers & twin L20M forward facing autocannons providing decent area denial for lakes/rivers & swamplands in addition to land itself. With an ability to reach 75kts within its "high performance mode", the HVP-3 can get in and out of a combat zone with ease, and owing to its softkill APS, can endure combat for a good amount of time.
HOW TO USE: (PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING)Please note that using high performance mode (in excess of 50kts) while traversing bumpy terrain or transitioning from water to land can lead to large amounts of damage, so be extremely careful when travelling at such speeds.
Sometimes (on extremely rare occasions) the PIDs for some random-ass reason may mess up. You can fix this via turning off & on the DIVERT AIR TO SKIRT button or revert to workbench.
How to start the hovercraft:
– Look to your front panel, press ENGINE SWITCH.
– Then press DIVERT AIR TO SKIRT and wait a second or so.
– When on fairly flat terrain or in water, you are free to press HIGH PERFORMANCE MODE to reach its max speed of 75kts.
