UAV Feed (Data Terminal) [NATO] v1.3
Creates a global camera, attaches itself to an AR-2 Darter Drone, and displays the camera feed on a Data Terminal. Displays on 2 screens: one with normal view (setPiPEffect [0]) and another with Thermal Vision (setPiPEffect [2]). The left screen can be toggled to show night vision.
- Messes with Zeus Interface when opened and closed after a few times, but the remote execution should be global and remain in effect for all players without Zeus capabilities.
- It is recommended that you do not use this with ANY Zeus scenario, as nobody will see the displayed feed. This is due to the way the camera script is made. It should be okay to use in any other type of scenario where a Zeus is not present at any time.
- Due to the complicated instabilities of the interfaces, both on foot and as Zeus, you will likely only be able to use this in a mission where there is NO use of a Zeus interface OR a Virtual Arsenal. After any case of opening an interface such as the Arsenal or Zeus, the rendered textures just turn black. Until the day comes where there is a workaround for the issue, this comp is only good for decorations.
Note: The static that appears on some displays are a known issue according to everything related to Arma 3 and Bohemia Interactive, and there is nothing that can fix it or take it out of the display. it’s something to do with the aspect ratio of the display. For example – A "Laptop (Device Readings)" has a different aspect ratio than a "Rugged Laptop (Open)." Static would appear on the rugged laptop, but not the normal laptop.
Also note that there is a maximum amount of 10 cameras that can be created using camCreate, so don’t use more than 10 of these compositions or create over 10 camera feeds.
