Myth’s UAV Live Feed Composition
Ever wanted to get a glimpse of an AO and show your whole group what’s going on without ever having to step foot outside? Good news, Myth’s UAV Live Feed Composition is here!
This composition allows you to pilot a AL-6 Darter drone to where ever you want and stream the captured footage to a large screen for public viewing!
The composition is self contained and multiplayer compatible!
Set up:
– In your 3DEN editor, go to Groups (F2) and select the Custom Compositions tab. Under "Steam subscribed content" you should find it.
– Place it down anywhere and you’re all set! If you want to modify the respawn delay, respawn tickets, or remove the respawn feature altoghether, just mess around with the Vehicle Respawn module that is linked to the drone!
How to use it:
– When in-game, you connect to and fly the drone just as you would any other drone. The camera turret also functions the same as usual, the only difference is zooming in and changing the vision mode.
– If you want to change the zoom level and vision mode that is displayed on the board, you must use the laptop controller. There will be scroll wheel options to select from which control the former.
– While looking at the laptop controller, you have 3 hotkeys…
- NUM 8 = ZOOM IN
- NUM 2 = ZOOM OUT
- Left Ctrl + Sec. Mouse Btn. = CYCLE VISION MODE
– There’s also a self destruct button in case things go wrong.
Known issues:
– Join In Progress (JIP) players will be able to see the footage, but will not see any effects, like if it is zoomed in or if the vision mode has been changed. The drone will need to be destroyed and respawned in order to see/make changes to the aforementioned settings.
