Description:

CV CPU Tier 4, Class 4, Unlock Level 25 RE, 20 Vanilla)

Primary roles: Combat, Shield, Warp, Farm, Hangar, Production, Storage, Upgradeable, Vanilla and Reforged Eden

The Carrack – Imperial Light Cruiser was deployed to enforce the will of the empire on distance systems as well as maintain control and quell any rebel resistance. It typically stays away from large scale wars and leaves those battles for the destroyers and dreadnoughts. It is also used time to time by imperial commanders to execute special ops missions behind enemy lines as the ship can be outfitted for a variety of tasks.

Offense and defense

The hull is made with steel with a touch of extra front end armor but largely is meant for shield based combat. It comes 2x320K ammo storage, locations to add 8 small and 8 medium shield parts as well as additional generators, cpu cores, locations to add up to 30 total turrets and 8 launchers. (Comes stock with only 7 minigun turrets). Also it does come with a heavy shield and warp drive.

Hangars and docking pads

The Carrack has a decent amount of docking capabilities. It has a mid sized hangar plus large upper and lower landing pads. The lower landing pad is meant for low profile top mountable creations. There is a 5 second delay opening the main hangar door and boarding ramps to allow docking below the hangar.

Utility and Storage:

It comes with 4x640K storage bays, 2x320K ammo bays, 2 advanced constructors with room to add 3 more constructors/deconstructors, armor locker, location for armor repair, 54 grow plot farm (grow plots not included), full medical bay, 1st and 3rd person bridges, mulitple part upgrade rooms, and a bit a crew related rooms. It also has a location to add a teleporter, repair bay and console, many 1×3 generators and 1 6x2x2 generator, and 10 additional large CV thrusters. Notes: The ship is meant to be upgraded with the weapon load out you want and is shield dependent, meaning the hull is not very tough and is meant to deal with combat using a shield and additional shield parts (RE only). There is a information LCD inside the ship that lists upgrade parts information. Engaging in combat, you would want to keep your shield up as long as possible and get out of combat before it is depleted, well that is the idea.

There is a 5 second delay on the hangar door/ramps opening to allow for docking a low profile creation below the hangar on a top mount landing pad. If running a full shield set up (8 small and 8 medium) you will need to add a minimum of 1 advanced generator and 4 1×3 generators + additional CPU blocks especially if 10 extra large thrusters and a full turret and launcher loadout. Fully upgrade the ship could potentially use 7-10 quantum/aux cores (RE only)
