Waypoint Abode
Waypoint Abode (BA Class 1, Unlock Level 7)
Primary roles: Starter Base, Solar, Alpha 9.x under 7500 CPU, inexpensive, storage, farm
The Waypoint Abode is a starter base with alpha 9.x functions. It was designed to be inexpensive and semi roomy offering many features for the price. The construction materials used are concrete (outer walls), wood (floor and internal trim), and just a bit of carbon substrate (for alt texture usage in non critical places). It comes with a 36 grow plot farm, 2x320K storage, 3 Constructors, 2 fridges and 1 food processor, clone chamber, o2+station, 12 large solar panels, armor rack, WiFi, and ammo box. It also comes with 5 canon turrets offering 360 degree protection. This base requires no rare or semi rare resources such as even cobalt. It was also designed to use as little iron as possible.
Unique Features
Based loosely on my first starter base, the Sanctuary-ST, this base meant to address any issues the older base had. To start with it is near the same build time but uses far lass iron. A problem with the Sanctuary-ST is you could not park a HV on the landing pad area. This base addresses that using solar panels off the back as a ramp for HV’s. Also placing this base partially over water on the ramp side allows you to place useful water and o2 equipment in the base area without having to exit the base. The back non interior area however does not have o2. A added a screen shot showing how this works.

Note: The core is placed on the bottom of the base in the center on the ground. The base is lifted by 1 block allowing for easier placement on rough terrain. Make sure the ground feet are supported when placing however it should not be very difficult. The iron it does use is mostly the storage extensions for the 2X320K storage.
