RKSL Studios – Rapier FSC SAM System

I’m releasing this to get feed back from the community.
YOU need to understand this:
1) This is an unfinished addon. I will finish it but right now I want to see what people think about its performance and balance.
2) It only has one LoD. So you can expect some FPS issue when viewed from distance (possibly)
3) The Damage textures don’t work – I’ve not fixed the sections. Just not had time.
4) Its a static object designed for use by AI or by players using a UAV terminal.
5) It requires the new RKSL Common addon to work.
The System comprises of 3 different units.
1) The DAGGER Search Radar. This has a 16Km 360 degree omnidirectional detection area.
2) The BLINDFIRE Fire Control Radar. This has a 10Km x 60 degree directional detection radar cone as well as Optical IR tracking. Its mounted on a turret system.
3) The Rapier Field Standard C (FSC) Launcher. This has an 8km x 60 degree directional detection radar cone as well as Optical IR tracking. Its mounted on a turret system which carries 8x Rapier 2000 missiles.
And an ammo pack with enough points to reload 9 missiles.
The missiles themselves are designed to be "hit-iles". ie they will impact on the plane. While they are setup with a proximity fuse in game. It rarely seems to need it. The missiles can also be manually guided. Which makes them very accurate and evil.
You only need to place the units in the editor. No need to link them or do anything special. Under AI control they will automatically data-link target information.
