Needles Spawn Above Ground
This mod makes Needles and Pasties consistent with many other burrowing enemies by making them spawn surfaced for a moment before they burrow down and start attacking.
Perfect if you want a mod that lets you see when Needles are present in a room without being obtrusive, or if you just like the consistency.
Will most likely be incompatible with any mods that alter the Needle or Pasty anm2 files, but should be compatible with direct resprites that only change the texture sheet.
May very minorly affect balance, since you have a chance to damage them in the brief time they’re surfaced but it’s fairly inconsequential in my opinion.
While I’ve done my best to test it, this is still my first Isaac mod, so there may be some issues I didn’t catch.
