Hovercraft is an important achievement in the research of amphibious warfare weapons all over the world. Hovercraft mostly perform coastal missions, but many plans for ocean going hovercraft are under study. The biggest advantage of the air cushion landing craft is that the traditional landing craft can only pass through 15% of the world’s coast, while the air cushion landing craft can land on 70% of the coast. The United States is the country with the largest number of air cushion landing craft, and the LCAC air cushion landing craft it has built occupies a leading position in all types of air cushion landing craft in the world.
