Clemenceau(1942)
Clemenceau is the third battleship of the Richeliue class battleship, which was built in the late 1930s. Compared with the first two ships, Clemenceau’s biggest difference is to add a 152mm triple auxiliary gun turret and modify the ship body layout of auxiliary weapons. On January 17, 1939, Clemenceau started construction. However, after the defeat of France in 1940, only 10% of the Clemenceau hull was captured by the enemy, and the construction was suspended. In August 1944, Clemenceau’s ship was sunk in Allied bombing.
