Béarn
The third London Naval Treaty signed in 1942 forced France to convert the remaining three richeliue class aircraft carriers. Languedoc adopted the transformation mode of battle carrier due to its rapid construction progress, and Béarn and Auvergne adopted the transformation mode of fleet aircraft carrier. Since Béarn took the lead in completing the project, the two fleet aircraft carriers are also called Béarn class.
