Assault Handcannon

Heyoo, so I guess I need to clarify some things here: This mod was released as is without any further plans for it, except for making sure it’s working without crashes whenever the game receives an update. This mod was made solely for fun and wasn’t meant to be 100% balanced. We did discuss creating a separate, overly toned down version but there was a lack of interest in making it, and any attempts to tweak stats of this one would just kill fun for people who are enjoying it the way it is. As for localization and mac issues:
• Fixing issues with running on mac is impossible due to not having a mac to test the mod on.
• Localization to other languages is not possible due to not knowing those languages.

A powerful handheld mini-cannon capable of firing piercing metal shards at insanely high velocity and launching explosive charges of any kind. Primarily sold by Sarah, a traveling gunpowder merchant. She can be found in four different locations.

• Fort Joy: Arena.
• Reaper’s Coast: Driftwood Square, close to tavern.
• Nameless Isle: Beach area.
• Arx: Outskirts close to the bench saw.

This mod edits vanilla arrow items so they require +1 Huntsman to use, which is to prevent players from using arrow related items together with the handcannon. This mod should be in top priority in your mod list to avoid any complications. (Information in progress)

• Assault Handcannon
  A powerful handheld cannon that was forged within the far away land of Midstridge. Initially a mining appliance, it quickly became a definitive favourite amongst mercenaries and Storm Order zealots for its sheer unstoppable firepower when loaded with metal shards and bolts. Due to the nature of the weapon it requires occasional maintenance to avoid malfunction and possible injuries.

  – Weapon will explode into pieces upon reaching 0 durability, knocking its wielder down.
  – Atrophy attacks can cause excessive weapon damage instead of setting Atrophy status.

• Utility Belts
  These belts provide a different set of playstyle for your gameplay, you can be fast with high initiative at the cost of damage or be a heavy hitter at the cost of your actions points per turn. These belts come in 3 different qualities called Light, Medium and Heavy. They are available at level 4, 9 and 14.

  – Bastion Belt: A belt equipped with a compact forge that allows to quickly patch armor even during combat and keeps its wearer warm, however, due to weight of the appliance it can considerably slow down its user.

  – Chaos Belt: A belt stuffed with a spiraling serum that is constantly injected into its wearer’s body, greatly improves stamina during combat actions, however the body itself becomes fragile as a side effect of the serum.

  – Recon Belt: A thin lightweight belt that is largely used in scouting and rescuing operations. While it is made to support an array of agile movements, it slightly limits its user in their offensive capabilities.

  – Skirmish Belt: An experimental gravity belt that can manipulate mass of physical weapons and projectiles, making their impact much heavier during attacks, and protecting its wearer from being displaced from one place to another by slightly anchoring them into the ground.

• Siege Repair Hammer: A higher quality of repair hammer from the far away lands of
  Midstridge, said to never break.
  – Allows to repair items indefinitely.
• Sample Package: A container filled with finest explosive ornaments for anyone to try out before settling on what to purchase from the gunpowder merchant. This item can only be obtained once.
• Cannoneer’s Guidebook:A book containing valuable information about the handcannon and its functions.
• The Mind-Blowing Art of Brimstone: A book about the origins of Midstridge explosive mining ornaments and how to craft them. Read to learn more about explosive crafting.
  – Read to learn 7 Missile & Satchel charge recipes.
• Charred Note: A charred note found in between pages of “The Mind-Blowing Art of Brimstone”.
  – Can be found in the sample package.
  – Read to learn 3 Special Missile recipes.
