Description:

Memory of dragons–the primal Gods–has all but faded from Rivellon. But, at the behest of a strange character met in the Joy, you seek to change that. After all, who better to forge a dragon’s path through the land than a Godwoken?

And what better to supplement the might of a melee bruiser than draconic strength? With this class mod, your enemies will fear your awesome power, and your allies will triumph for your potent buffs. Make this fight against the void the last…
…for that is the dragon’s will.

Features:

– Over 30 unique skills (and 3 super-secret skills) designed to fill niches missing in base DOS2. View them all in this handy spreadsheet[docs.google.com].
– Numerous custom effects for every skill. All the better to bedazzle the baddies.
– A micro-quest led by an obsessive (and odorous) lizard. Uncover the secrets of dragons, lost to time.
– A brain-expanding fruit to counteract the burden of 30 skills. Find it on the outskirts of Reaper’s Coast.

Gameplay:

The Dragon Monk is proficient will all martial arms, but will perform best with single-handed Strength weapons (swords, maces, and axes). This is not to say they lack knowledge of magic: by the will of slumbering Elemental Dragons, the Dragon Monk can enter one of four Elemental Stances depending on their need:
Stance: Earth Dragon’s Guard: for when tanking takes precedence over damage
Stance: Wind Dragon’s Aptitude: softer, but lighter, the dragon’s wind makes traversing the battlefield (or the world) a breeze
Stance: Fire Dragon’s Avarice: for costlier actions, the enemy will feel the full force of your fury. Damage received will be greater, however, and once-cheap skills may prove too costly to manage
Stance: Water Dragon’s Rebut: steadfast before danger, the Monk will return a portion of all incoming damage as Physical
These stances are free to enter, but must be committed to for 1 turn (or lost). Choose the stance that best fits the need of the moment!

Later, the Elemental Dragons bestow a higher power in the form of Elemental Auras–statuses which radiate from the caster for 2 turns. Like the Stances, these Auras provide powerful situational benefits, from amplifying ally dodge chance, to cursing enemies with Decayed Healing. Combined with the Stances (and the other 20-odd skills), the Dragon Monk is equipped to face any situation.

The Skills Vendor:

The once-silent lizard, Lhecima, resides in Fort Joy, under command of the Magisters. Unbeknownst to them, he has freed himself from his stitches, and quests quietly for the Dragonkin of his dreams.

Locations:
ACT 1
– Fort Joy, in the trader slums
– Seeker’s Camp, atop the scaffolding
ACT 2
– On the deck of the Lady Vengeance
– Driftwood trade hub
ACT 3
– On the deck of the Lady Vengeance
ACT 4
– Hall of Echoes (on the deck of the Lady Vengeance)

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with everything (including multiplayer). Since it uses minimal scripting, there should be minimal bugs. That said, while more than one player character should be able to play the Dragon Monk without issue, some skills may cause problems (e.g. Purgedeath Sigil), so keep that F5 button handy.
