Blunderbuss
An Ultimate Means to An End for Ship-Boarding Action
I was at work one day, over-dosing on a Reese’s, and thought to myself how fun it would be to have a primary blunderbuss, an actual historical blunderbuss anyhow. We have the Bundle o’ Buss in-game, but I mean, that’s a secondary! Plus the bots can’t use it, so darn! So, I went to work modelling one of these bad boys, this one is based on a mid-18th century English design, but can be used for most any scenario since the flintlock system was used for some centuries. The weapon does immense damage up close, however its inaccuracy is both a blessing and a sin. On the one hand, you can devastate a group if you’re lucky, but if you’re not, all your shot whizzes by them, completely unaffected by your miniature cannon. Or a musket, with an obscenely large muzzle.
- Includes the Blunderbuss, found in the Assault, Close Quarters, Black Powder, and Napoleonic, categories. There is also a Mac-friendly variant found as well; aptly titled with Mac Friendly afterwards.

- 100 Damage per shot up close, damage drops off significantly and quickly
- 15 pieces of shot
- 11-second reload
- 30 spare cartridges
- Muzzle velocity of 390
- The Melee Portion
- Press the ‘X’ button to switch to it
- Deals 55 damage per strike with an effective range of about 4 meters
- The animations are crudely done, almost as crude as bludgeoning somebody to death with a gun
