Sane Chain – Faster Crafting
Based on my "Sane Shirt Crafting Times" mod, by request, this provides a speed boost to crafting chain armor (the armor itself, not the sheets, they’re already pretty boosted).
That’s all. Single number tweak, no other files, grab’n’go. Let me know if it feels too OP or still too slow.
Technical Info, you don’t need to read this if you don’t care:
All armor in Kenshi has a craft time autocalculated by its value. So, since chain shirts are incredibly expeinsive, they end up having an awfully ridiculous crafft time.
I can’t change the mat calculation. But, I *can* give the crafting station a boost multiplier to its crafting speed. Since the "chain armor" craft bennch makes all the chain, and doesn’t make anything else, i changed it from 1x to 2.5x, done.
(For my Sane Shirts mod, i couldn’t just boost the leather amror station since it would’ve affected all leather armor, so i had to make a new station for just shirts. No need to do that here, chain already has its own thing, go forth and craft with wild abandon!)
