All 7 Combat Skills Equipable (Crimson Court Version)
This mod does not change any hero’s stats or skills. Everything is the same as vanilla (patch #20325)
I plan on making a version that balances around the concept of having 7 skills (generally toning a few things down). The reason why I wanted more than 4 skill slots is because some skills just end up very situational, especially once you learn how to play effectively
This mod can be made compatible with custom heroes or a hero rebalance mod, but you will need to edit a file (or more).
– Go to your Steam Directory (usually found in Program Files x86);
– Open the folders steamapps > workshop > content > 262060
– You will find a few folders with a string of numbers as a name (depending on how many mods you’ve subbed to). Open a few until you find the mod you’re trying to make compatible
– Find a file called ">heroname<.info.darkest" . For example, the Bounty Hunter file would be "bounty_hunter.info.darkest". Check the screenshot for reference
– Open the ">heroname<.info.darkest" in any text editor (like notepad) and find the following line (ctrl+f)
skill_selection: .can_select_combat_skills true .number_of_selected_combat_skills_max 4
and change the 4 into a 7. Save it.
– In-game, make sure that this mod is on the bottom of order (so that the other mods take priority in loading) and you’re done!
(Word of warning: an update to a mod means you will have to do this again unfortunately)
