Description:

This mod is a direct copy/paste port-over from a Rome 2 mod made by "Theodora" -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2386231964&searchtext=larger+battlefields

It doubles the total area of battle and spreads armies out to their furthest extent (regular field and naval battles only.)
For me, this really improved the feeling of commanding the army in battle, and gave some control of the operational, pre-battle maneuvering aspect of ancient warfare. Whenever I play on base sized battlefields now they always feel small and artificial. Increasing the size and distance of the deployment field lets the battle begin in a natural and seamless way, rather than the forced pitched battle chess board of the stock size. The larger field also means geography becomes much more of a factor in movement, concealment, and elevation advantage.

All credit goes to Theodora and the original mod for Rome 2.

I have no idea about universal mod compatibility, but in theory it should only interfere with other mods that change the battlefield/deployment zone size.
