Description:
What is this?

It’s a small preset collection for a ReShade, a popular post-processing engine by crosire.
Main goal of this preset id to achieve what in-game filter was meant to but failed.
Don’t get me wrong, Isaac’s graphic style is fantastic but after hundreds of hours it’s really refreshing to get something new!
In addition I slightly tweaked colors and illumination to make the game a sligtly more climatic.

Installation

IMPORTANT! Because of Steam Worskhop limitations I can’t upload ReShade libraries and you’ll have to do additional steps. Follow this guide:
1. Subscribe to this mod and launch the game once.
2. Go to My DocumentsMy GamesBinding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Modsvectorized_1582299166
3. Pick the version you want (I recommend and use first) and copy all the folder’s content to game’s main directory (SteamsteamappscommonThe Binding of Isaac Rebirth).
4. Download ReShade library for OpenGL (I’ve uploaded it for you): me ga.nz/ #!sLhhgK7T!MNG62SZmmNsjBALdXTw7fv9ncuRDMHqsj4d-MPfdjFw (delete spaces, thanks Steam <3)
5. Copy the downloaded file into game’s main directory (SteamsteamappscommonThe Binding of Isaac Rebirth).
6. Done! Remember to disable in-game "Filter" option if you had it enabled.

Uninstallation

– ReShade.ini

FAQ

Q: There are 5 folders in mod’s directory. Which one should I choose?
A: The one you want. Do you like smooth edges and new colors? Take first. Only smooth edges? Take second. In addition I made color change only version as well as performance oriented one. I didn’t run into any performance issues but I have a solid rig. They are slightly less visually appealing because of no anti-alliasing and LumaSharpen.

Q: Link to the ReShade is virus!!1!1! Why wouldn’t you upload it to the Steam Workshop?
A: Steam Workshop doesn’t allow to upload any .dll files. If you don’t trust me, download it from offcial website https://reshade.me/ . It’s the same file, you can even compare hashes. Also, scanned it for you: virustotal.com/#/file/7b74bf91da0e40f17166b1b5e6a18db538e10f00fc9703e8399f0fb59cd814b6/detection

Q: Can I modify this? If so, how?
A: Yes, you can. ReShade menu key is Insert and from there you can do anything you want. I deleted all shaders I didn’t use though so you probably want to download them.

Q: Can I temporarily disable shaders?
A: Yes, you can toggle shaders anytime by pressing F3. You can also change that key in the settings.

Q: There are some strange glitches on edges and noise. Can you fix that?
A: It’s a post-processing filter, it’s not perfect. The most important factor is your resolution. I play on 1920×1080 and it’s just fine but any lower than that can be not pleasant to even unplayable. You can also try to lower "s" factor for HQ4X filter.
