Description:

Add a swirl of Scottish flavor to the look of your Yondering Lands!

FIVE NEW HAIRS
-plaid ribbon
-kerchief
-kertch
-glengarry cap
-tam o’shanter
These fit both the male and the female skull shape, and the accessories reflect your primary/secondary color choices. They can be chosen for your heroes, and they’ll also show up on generated NPCs in the background.

TWELVE NEW AUGMENTS
-two necklaces (pewter pendant on a braided cord, mixed-metal thistle)
-two talismans (jeweled thistle, carved highland cow)
-two brooches (pewter penannular, white cockade)
-one narrow tooled belt
-one set of "sock flash" kneepads
-modular plaid set (strap, sash, cloak, scarf)
Everything looks good either mixed or on its own; tartans reflect the primary color with a secondary-color stripe.

Augments have a chance to turn up mixed into your normal loot.

Any two of the "modular plaid" set should look good together, though all four might be a little much! The one place you might see weirdness is the "strap" plaid; it doesn’t look quite right with two-handed weapons, as there can be some clipping of the breadth over the shoulder. Otherwise, everything should fit right into your existing visual setup!

A NOTE ON HERALDRY
The plaids do not quite conform to any existing tartan, but if you set a particular clan’s colors as your primary and secondary, they’ll get the point across! (I based the design on a very simplified version of the McAlister tartan, which is my own clan, and I am happy to share it with other players!)

The thistles and the "wild rose" (the white ribbon cockade, a la Bonnie Prince Charlie) are references to the endurance and persistence of Scottish culture under English imperialism. The pewter elements are based on Viking and Gaelic archaeological finds. The highland cow is just cute.
