The Great Merge
This mod is a grand merge of several Imperator: Rome mods including but not limited to:
– Imperator Invictus
– Full Mechanical Overhaul
– Oikoumene (mainly the naming cities upon foundation mechanic)
– Historical Imperator Pack
– Macedonian Empire
– Bigger Government
– Old World Armory
– Interestig Treasures
If you have this mod enabled, you should disable all other mods mentioned above. This mod replaces all.
I’ll be honest and say that I created this mod out of selfish reasons, mainly because I wanted to enjoy the Invictus overhaul along with the naming cities mechanic – which is something I am greatly thankful for to the creator of the Oikoumene mod. I do think that naming cities, family members, armies etc. is one of the things that any Paradox Game should have, but for whatever reason it was left out of Imperator to a great detrement to the game.
As I was playing my merged mod with the other mods from the list above, I started noticing that not all mods are being used to their full potential, so the next logical step for me was to include them all in my merge and create one grand merge mod – which is what I did.
This means that I did make my own decisions and corrections to files which were used by multiple mods, giving preference to ‘Imperator Invictus’ features in most cases.
Now, out of altruistic reasons I am sharing my Great Merge mod with the rest of you Imperator:Rome fans out there, so please enjoy it.
Note: You can play this mod with the ‘2.0 Better UI’ mod, however the province screen will be overwritten by this mod.
P.S. I hope the creators of the above mentioned mods wouldn’t mind my upload. I have not contacted anyone to ask for permission to use their work – which I greatly admire and appreciate. If any of the modders is reading this, please take this mod as a compliment to your hard work keeping the fans of the game in mind. My only goal ever was to share the joy of playing this amazing game in the way and with the features I think it deserves.
