SS Gabriele (1958) (Full Interiors)
This is my first ship to be posted on the workshop , i hope you like it! :
The S.S. Gabriele was an Italian translatlantic , Constructed on the year 1956 by the Ansaldo Company, and launched on 1958. It measured 103.50m in length and 15.50m in width, she had a top speed of 25-28 knots and her hull design would make her a perfect liner to cross the ocean even with harsh weather.
After her Maiden voyage , on the way back for Italy , a security guard smoked a cigarette in the cargo zone , wich caused a fire and the methane cylinders near the fire exploded. The breach was too large for the bilge pumps to deal with , and the ship ended sinking the night between 5th and 6th of May , causing the death of 368 people.
