In my little alternate universe the ship is named after the british Admiral Haddock (1629-1715)
But we all know who its really named after 🙂
Lore:
The Haddock class was built as a successor to older Dreadnought battleships. It replaced the Old Queen Elizabeth class fully. The three ships were all layed down in 1940 and completed in 1944. They could directly challenge the most powerful ships of the imperial german Navy, including the improved König Albert class.
