The True North Strong & Free : Canada Rework
The True North Strong & Free mod is a rework of Canada, it adds the Maritime provinces to the game (Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick). It changes the way of confederating Canada, replaces vanilla confederation events and adds many many more events, decisions and journal entries in order to Confederate the Dominion of Canada!
This mod adds historically accurate events and conferences that led to Canadian Confederation!
– You can form the Dominion of Canada only as Upper or Lower Canada, giving you the choice between Ottawa or Montreal to be the national capital.
– Adds many historical events, decisions and conferences, like Rebellions of 1837-38, Durham’s report, Act of Union, Charlottetown, Quebec and London Conferences, Rupert’s Land Act (the acquisition of Hudson Bay Company). British North America Act, British Columbia’s joining of Confederation, The Pig War, Oregon Crisis and Oregon Treaty, also many more events and decisions!
