Crystalback Stegadons
An addition for my Crystalback roster. The Crystalback Stegadon is your ordinary stegadon, but addicted to magic.
Crystalback Stegadons developed a larger shield on their head to protect the crystals on their back resulting in a 60% shielded from frontal missile hits.
They should be recruitable where the Stegadons are.
Crystalback units have as the name implies crystals growing from their back. These special crystals are magic absorbing, adding a natural 30% Spell Resistance to the unit while also giving them a unique extra ability, that activates if your winds of magic reserve is high. In this case the stegadon receives a +15% physical protection and 10% spell mastery, making them tank more while also encouraging you to cast spells (giving the player a choice of keeping the buff or taking the spell power), but they have a penalty when low on magic. They also will usually have magic attacks.
