Dealer Ranno
Dealer Ranno is a basic workshop skin of Ranno based on the premium Tuxedo Ranno skin, with additional alternate color options and graphical changes. I tried to make it different enough so that both skins are worth using, and I very much recommend you purchase Tuxedo Ranno for yourself to support the devs and experience the real benefits of using the official skin (using in Ranked/Casual, custom taunt, roses, white poison color, stability, etc etc). The purpose of this skin was NOT to make Tuxedo Ranno free for everyone to use, it was mostly to experiment what Tuxedo Ranno alternates would look like.
The main differences between Tuxedo Ranno and Dealer Ranno are:
– Dealer Ranno has the default yellow-greenish poison color, while Tuxedo has the clean white color.
– Instead of roses, Dealer Ranno throws playing cards from the Poison Deck to stack foes.
– Dealer Ranno has a total of 16 alternate colors, based on all of his default and premium skins, plus brand new additions such as the white tuxedo variant.
There are some bugs/side effects that come from using the Ranno skin template, such as:
– After-image effect from airdodging/rolling is dependent on color slot, and are affected by your custom colors. Some may look strange, but it is what it is.
– The game is prone to crash if the *lobby leader* uses normal Ranno while the guest uses Dealer Ranno. To avoid this, simply make sure the lobby leader is the one using the Dealer Ranno skin and vice versa. Both using Dealer Ranno or both using normal Ranno are fine.
– Because this is a basic Workshop skin, the taunt still has the sound effects of the original taunt, while the sprites themselves come from Tuxedo Ranno. Something that just has to be this way.
With the extensive testing that I did to make sure that this skin would be *tournament viable and usable*, I didn’t find many other problems besides those listed.
This took me many hours to make, and I want to make sure that hard work paid off!
