For me chaos invasion felt underwhelming since wh1 and especially in wh2 – it lacks proper challenge. At the same time, if you play as Warriors of Chaos or Beastmen then AI recolonises too easily and campaign quickly becomes tedious or even impossible to truly advance – because AI just colonises every chaos ruin you’ve made.
This mod changes that situation. With it chaos, norscan and beastmen spread a lot of corruption – 33 corruption in region and 7 in nearby regions. Having a portal to the Chaos Realms near borders of player or AI now presents proper challenge in form of such corruption.
In addition to this, chaos, norscan and beastmen ruins produce decent sized armies – 70% chance for ruin to produce an army, with 4 turns cooldown.
