China Boon – Western Protectorate
This mod is to be used with another mod that allows you to play as the Protectorate General of the Western Protectorate of the China Empire.
A Notice: As the Western Protectorate General you are a passthrough for all of the boon decisions for China so there is a high possibility you will get a lot more notifications while playing as them. Just a note.
I have added on into the "required mods" as that is the only mod that allows it that I have tested/seen and without a mod that does that this basically does nothing.
I wanted to play as the Western Protectorate for fun one day and I found out that the triggers used in the grace decisions and such for the China offmap power do not allow you to use them if you belong to the offmap china power which the protectorate general does count as.
What I have done is make new scripted triggers for the China power to allow the Western Protectorate to use the Decisions for the China offmap power and changed most of the decisions from china to make it so AI protectorates don’t use it. They might as this is my first attempts at a mod in CK2.
This mod allows you to choose multiple different levels of grace needed for boons when you play as the Protectorate General.
The options are:
No cost for Boons
25% cost for Boons
50% cost for Boons
75% cost for Boons
And 100% normal cost for Boons.
Depending on your option you will get a modifer that will never go away and be inherited by your successor unless you choose the normal cost which will just make it cost the normal cost and not give a modifier to your character.
