From my Warhammer 1 mod, made to be compatible with WH2 and Mortal Empires

Found it weird that opening up a gate after demolishing a settlement did not increase Chaos Corruption in the region?

This mod makes it so that ruins created by Chaos increase the amount of Chaos Corruption in the area, thereby making their path of destruction through the Old World persistent and, I think, very thematic.

The corruption influence can be fought with agents, or removed by capturing the ruins.

The influence to the region is set to +10
The osmosis influence (which spreads to other regions) is set to +2
