Its time to face the light!
Pit from the Kid Icarus franchise joins Rivals of Aether as a playable character! His moveset draws inspiration from Kid Icarus: Uprising, as well as the various Smash Bros titles he has appeared in.
Palutena’s Guidance compatibility is also supported, and creators can create their own codecs for their own workshop characters! More info on how to add Palu guidance below.

Pit uses the Palutena Bow to fire a controllable arrow, can be aimed in 3 directions. Arrows are like Brawl arrows/Elliana missiles in that they last for a very long time and persist even offscreen.
Pit wields a First Blade to shoot at foes. Use while on cooldown to perform continuous fire, or use off cooldown to perform a powerful Charge Shot!
Just like in Smash, Pit summons a pair of Guardian Orbitars. Tap Special to perform the Smash version of the move, or hold Special to throw them as stage control. Orbitars have a hitbox when activated, and are able to reflect Pit’s own projectiles!
All of Pit’s strong attacks are unique! UStrong makes Pit use the Dynamo cannon, DStrong uses a pair of Tiger Claws, and FStrong uses the Upperdash Arm. FStrong dash distance can also be increased by charging the move!
By pressing down + taunt for a short duration, Pit will activate a Palutena’s Guidance codec. All base cast characters are supported, as well as a select few workshop characters.
