Fully clientside leaning, should be compatible with everything
Bind a key to +leanleft and +leanright
cl_leaning_distance (1000) – How far to lean
It’s simple because it just moves the player sideways and rolls their view.
No, it doesn’t move your spine (like Tactical Leaning), but not doing so fixes:
- Compatibility issues with view mods/weapon packs (even works with SharpeYe!)
- Hitboxes going outside the bounding box and being unhittable
- Other people seeing only a pixel of your forehead
- NPCs not even seeing you at all
- Short playermodels not being visible at all
- Huge performance issues from manipulating bones every tick
If you want to let players lean like tacticool soldiers without having to worry about these issues, then use this.
You can even run this on any server if they allow clientside lua
