Regime Change in Subject Governments
Creates new diplomatic interactions:
You as the overlord can choose to replace the ruler and government of one of your subjects.
Requirement is having one of your ruling IGs not represented in government, but not marginalized either.
This goes a bit further than the vanilla "Regime Change" DiploPlay, creating radicals, and shifting clout, legitimacy and approval. Your new puppet government is better equipped to effect change. They may well see a rebellion, but you can always support them…
Puppets are more likely to accept the change without too much fuss, other subject types might be more resistant.
For governments that have all the desired IGs marginalized, there is an additional interaction: Admonish.
This publicly shames everyone participating in government, but comes at a much higher cost for the overlord.
Created because I was frustrated about having to defeat progressive rebellions in my Pro-Slavery subjects when I had long abolished it.
Disabled for AI, because I didn’t get them to handle it right and they were just piling infamy upon themselves.
