The Blood Saurian V2.0
You know, I like to think that one day Khorne got outta bed and took a look at all the monsters in Lustria. He saw the dread saurian rampaging through literally everything, and thought to himself "I want that", and thus the Blood Saurian was born!
Okay so, here we have a completely dumb idea. What if there was a dread saurian, but for Khorne? Has anyone actually asked that question? Probably not, but here we are anyway. Basically take everything you know about the dread saurian, he’s big, he’s slow, and he hits like a truck. Then crank that up to 11, and you have the Blood Saurian. It’s massive, even bigger than the standard variant (Khorne doesn’t know the meaning of the word overcompensation) and it destroys absolutely everything. It has the highest (I think?) base weapon strength in the game, an absurd health pool, and top tier armour. Though it pays for this by having relatively low melee defence, and being a massive, slow moving magnet for missiles. It’s absolutely possible for it to be at half health by the time it gets to the front lines, but when it gets there, oh boy..
I also added the buffs from the warshrine of Khorne, as I like the concept but hate the shrine models. It’s a Regiment of Renown unlocked at level 40, and has a pretty high price tag attached. All Khorne factions, as well as the Warriors of Chaos (minus Azazel, Festus, and Vilitch), plus Taurox have access to this guy! For Taurox he benefits from ghorgon tech, and for the rest of the factions it’s bloodthirster tech.
Look, balance and lore accuracy were not even close to being considered for this mod. This is meant as a fun "I win" unit for when your lord reaches peak power. It’s designed to decimate everything around it, while you sit back and watch the cool visuals. Is it over the top? Absolutely. Does it really need to exist? not really. Did I still enjoy making this mod and using it in my own game? Without a doubt.
As I am still very new when it comes to modding I welcome any feedback you have! This was a fun and silly project that I’ve been thinking about for a while now, and I hope you get as much of a kick out of it as I do.
