Korean Skins Mini Pack
We know truth, not only by reason, but also by the heart
A mini skin pack I’m putting out that should’ve gone out quite a while ago, but me being lazy has surmounted it into appearing late. Anyways, here it is, a requested skin pack for various Korean units, from levies to riflemen. My knowledge on Korea is very limited, and thanks to the sources they posted and a bit of independent research, I was able to at least somewhat faithfully reconstruct three different uniforms of the Joseon Dynasty and beyond. At some point additional skins will make their way into here, whenever that will be.
Three different skins to play with:
- Korean – Korean Empire
- Based on the short-lived Korean Empire of the very late 19th and early 20th centuries, and can also work for late Joseon I’d imagine. The tunic shows obvious German influence as can be inferred from the rear skirt.
- Korean – Independence Army
- Based on photographs of the Korean Independence Army from about the 1920s, finding photos of equipment has proven very difficult for all skins featured here, but I have tried my best to recreate parts I saw.
- Korean – Joseon Levy
- A Levy from the Imjin War of the late 16th century; though obviously he can be used for multiple centuries of conflict. I’m not a fan of how he turned out, but I’ve never done anything quite this old.
