Damen Road Ferry 19 Pack
These Road Ferries are made by the Dutch shipbuilding company Damen. This pack contains both the 6819 and its larger companion the 9819. The ships were manufactured in 2021 for Ottawa’s Amherst and Wolfe Island Ferries, and plan to enter service this year.
Both ferry models consist of a main deck for cars, trucks, and bikes. The 6819’s second deck holds a small outdoor seating area for pedestrian passengers. The 9819 has both indoor and outdoor seating options that encompass the entirety of the third deck. Both ferries are battery-diesel hybrids that can utilize seaside recharging stations.
These ferries’ real-world dimensions are 68 m x 19 m & 98 m x 19 m. Unfortunately, the game has a current maximum vehicle size of 30m x 3.75m so I had to scale it down to fit. Because of this, the size will not be graphically accurate in the game.
