Optionally team this mod with Automated Tourism

Prioritize Safaris
New tourists and tourists already on mars that have not taken their first safari will now seek out an RC Safari as their first priority for daily interest.
If they can’t get on one, then they do other interests, but continue to see if a safari becomes available.
A safari must have space onboard and stopped at waypoint #1 waiting.
Once they get one safari ride, then the rest of their stay on mars consists of random interests (possibly includes another safari).

Status
Will show the following in the status bar:
Idle
On a safari
Waiting for tourists (When parked at the starting location)
Dropping off tourists (if route cancelled)
Returning to start (if route cancelled with no tourists onboard)
Restarting safari (one time only on Better Safari load in a save game see notes below)
Resetting safari (if you turn off the mod)

New Infopanel Statistics
Gone is the old clunky statistics screen which was originally meant for service buildings.
In its place is a new custom built for RC Safari statistics window.

Highlight Tourists
Selecting an RC Safari will put an arrow above the heads of all tourists, so you can see where they are.
Optionally disable this feature in Mod Config Reborn

Doubled Pickup Zone
A tourist will seek out parked RC Safaris at double the distance than normal.
For a reference, they will look the distance of a mega dome width.
Now a tourist on the far side of a mega dome will see a parked RC Safari outside the dome on the other side.
Settable back to normal in Mod Config Reborn

Toggle Indicator Boundary
Right clicking on the new status section in the infopanel will paint an indicator circle around the safari showing you the range a colonist can detect an RC Safari and get on one.
The RC Safari must be either Idle or Waiting for Tourists to be able to paint the boundary.
The circle disappears when the RC Safari moves.

Drop off tourists
Previously if you had an RC Safari running a route that had tourists in it and you cancelled the route, the tourists where stuck inside.
Now the RC Safari returns to waypoint #1 (start) and drops off the tourists.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed missing color palettes. No more 100% white RC Safaris. They now take the color scheme of your colony.
  2. Fixed waypoint controller. Previously, you could accidentally select the waypoint manger while the RC Safari was on a route. This would break the safari.
  3. Fixed ability to manually move RC Safari while on route – now safari must be Idle to control its position.
  4. An RC Safari that was on a route and and malfunctioned, kept the tourists in the RC Safari perpetually until a rocket was calling them home. Now they get out.
  5. Fixed RC Safaris with cancelled routes still accepted tourists if the tourists were already en route to the RC Safari.

Notes:
In order for this mod to fix the safari code, it needs to cancel any existing safaris and replace the safari code for each RC Safari rover.
You will see a one time message on any RC Safari status if that RC Safari needs a code update.
The Safari will return to the starting position, load new code and resume the original programmed safari.
You do not need to do anything, it will not affect tourists already onboard. You probably wont even notice it.
Turning off the mod in Mod Config Reborn will reset all RC Safaris back to their starting position and eject all tourists.
They will be in the Idle state afterwards and will require you to program new waypoints.

This mod will get regularly updated as I think of more features to add or find more bugs.
Dont forget to vote up the mod.
