Golden Geese
Adds Golden Geese that lay golden eggs.
They are a type of goose that you can bring with you on embark (for 5k Dwarfbucks) or will rarely hatch from eggs. The Golden Goose can hatch from ~1 out of 1001 eggs, and has gold feathers (both the material and color). It lays 1 gold bar at a nestbox per season. The Geese themselves are worth 10k Dwarfbucks, so a flock of them is a treasure on its own.
Graphics for the golden geese are just recolored normal geese.
Is this kind of a dumb mod?
Yep.
Are there any downsides to using it?
Not really, maybe the elves will get mad at you because your masterwork gold goblets are technically animal products now, but I’m struggling to call that a negative.
Functional with mods that change "creature_domestic.txt" (Basically any mod that changes creature you can embark with in vanilla) as long as this mod is loaded after it and it doesn’t completely replace geese.
