T-90 MBT
The T-90, is a russian MBT that entered service in 1993. The tank is a more modernized version of the T-72B.
The original name was suppose to be the T-72BU but was later changed to the name we know as the T-90.
As armor it uses a composite-steel blend on top of ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor) to protect it and its crew against enemy fire.
The T-90 uses a 125 mm smoothbore main gun which is the same gun used on the T-80. The gun is capable of firing a variety of shells, for example; APFSDS, HEAT-FS and HE-FRAG.
The gun is fed this ammo via an autoloader which is located under the crew in the turret.
I’ve been trying to build a russian mbt for a while and I think ive finaly hit the nail on the head….or whatever. The tank is designed to be very simple,
so that you can just download it and start playing without thinking about what you need to turn on and not.
Outside
The tank is 3.75m wide, 3.25m tall and 9.50m long. On top of the turret you have a machine gun which can be controlled by the commander, on the back of the tank you have two small
ammo drums, which are mostly there for cosmetics but you can fill them with whatever you like.
Inside
Inside the tank, there is 3 seats, the gunner, commander and the driver seat. The commander seat can control the machine gun on top and can turn on horizontal stabilazation [4]

The gunner can control the traverse of the turret and the elevation of the main gun. They can also turn on horizontal and vertical stabilazation to help you stay on target
while moving [4].
To the left of the gunner seat you have an indicator light which shows the status if the gun is loaded. Green=Loaded, Yellow=Loading, Red=Magasine Empty.
To the left of that light you have a button. When the gun/magasine is completley empty (Red Light) you need to refillthe magasine, once youve done that, you can press
the button to load the top round and be ready to fire again. The reload microcontroller is made by chickenjonte: [https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198856760636/myworkshopfiles/]
Then theres is the driver seat, they, well…drive. You have a key button which turns on the engine, then you have dials which show your current speed in km/h, and
how much fuel you have left.
The tank is powered by a single 3×3 cylinder, and it brings you upp to up to 80 km/h on straights. The engine is restricted to about half power to prevent it
from going too fast.
I also used chickenjonte’s microcontrollers for the engine: [https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198856760636/myworkshopfiles/]
So thank you.
