Axis and Allies 2016 Alpha
Our first self-made version of an Axis and Allies game, set in a fictional near future where rising conflicts troughout the world lead to a Third World War.
Cornered by NATO, Russia needs to take back the former territories of the Soviet Union and even more of Europe. China’s overwhelming manpower and modern equipment are capable of spreading communism throughout the world. The Japanese are going to feel China’s revenge for WW2!
Russia formed a strong alliance with China and India. However China and India are just fighting a common enemy while not being in an alliance. Which means they can’t pass each others territories or airspaces.
The USA needs to decide whether Russia’s conquest of Europe or China’s expand through the Pacific is a bigger threat to the western world.
Since all of the superpowers agreed on the ban of ABC Weapons, this conflict has to be resolved by conventional warfare. (to make the game more fun)
This Game contains 60 new models of modern military vehicles and infantry, an edited board and custom rules!
We excluded units like Cargo Planes, UAVs, Gunships, Corvettes, any type of Missiles and Towed-Artillery to keep the game more simple.
Allies: Europe, USA, Japan, Australia, Canada
Axis: Russia, People’s Republic of China, India
We are using the 1940 Global rules as a basis:

Changed or added rules are written down on notecards in-game.
This is a game for advanced players of 1940 Global. We don’t recommend playing it when you never played 1940 Global before.
Chips:
Grey – 1 unit
Green – 3 units
Red – 5 units
This game is currently in alpha so there haven’t been much playtesting yet. We need more playtesting to balance the game and we would appreciate constructive criticism. We also need suggestions for possible national objectives for every playable nation.
