Support Drones
Adds a friendly drone that follows you around and can be told to do various things.
Features custom Lua-based pathfinder that better suits the drone’s set of abilities, which is only used with certain modes.
The drone can defend you from enemies, mine for resources, and more.
It also has an inventory with about the size of a small chest.
This mod is a work in progress.
I was going to add more things before releasing this, but I decided not to succumb to potential feature creep.
This is still unfinished; the 2 drone equipment slots currently do nothing and the pathfinder can cause some pretty heavy lag and memory usage at times.
The drone also must be manually retrieved to take it anywhere, and cannot be obtained normally. However, the item version can be spawned with ‘/spawnitem sd_supportdroneitem’.
I will also make a better thumbnail in the future.
