What is this mod:
This mod makes it possible to have a variety of shades of a colour on a single paint layer. It also makes it possible to use one paint layer for both white and grey on a single ship. In addition, it can be used to overlay two paint layers to effectively create the appearance of an additional colour.

How to use:
Subscribe and then activate the mod as usual. The mod will then add three new categories to the painting mode. Before starting, set the base colour of your ship to black or dark grey if you want lighter shading.
If you want to use grey and white in the design, then you will need to set one of the paint layers to pure white, and use the other two paint layers for your chosen ship colours. Otherwise, set the three paint layers as normal for your design.

Category A contains the base game shapes in the following levels of transparency:

• Set 1: 80% (this is used primarily for darkening an existing colour)
• Set 2: 20% (This one is primarily intended to be used with pure white to give you a base grey)
• Set 3: 10% (This one is intended as a darker shade of grey)

Category B is used for when you wish to transition from the brightest colour down to a darker shade.

• Set 1: 100% to 80%
• Set 2: 100% to 20%
• Set 3: 100% to 10%

Category C is used for transitions between the darker shades.

• Set 1: 80% to 10%
• Set 2: 20% to 10%
• Set 3: 80% to 20%
