The Dawnless Days – Voice Addon (unofficial)
Did you ever get annoyed by hearing "Melee fighters battle ready!" or "Spears at your command!" over and over again in your battles?
This mod replaces the unit-type-specific voicelines with more fitting ones from BMFE II. For example, Gondorian Citadel Guards now have a chance to say "Defenders of the White Tree", while Nazguls may screech and Uruk-hai express their desire for man-flesh. If you’re outnumbered, you might even hear your general reciting Aragorn’s speech from Return of the King!
The units can still say their culture-specific generic voice lines from Attila, but you’ll hear the new ones with a chance of around 40% when selecting the units.
All factions in the base mod are covered – some factions have the same voice lines for all units, some generals and units have unique ones. In my opinion it definitely improves immersion.
I am not a member of The Dawnless Days team. In order to use this mod you’ll have to install The Dawnless Days first!
