Contextual Diplomatic Terms
Excludes certain resources and all techs from many diplomatic proposals, which also prevents exploiting game information in multiplayer or against an AI.
Status:
War: cities and fortresses may be exchanged for a truce, as usual.
Cold war: luxries and pearls may be exchanged in return for treaties.
Peace: dust, strategics, luxuries and pearls may be exchanged in any proposal.
Alliance: dust, strategics, luxiries, pearls, and technologies may be exchanged in any proposal.
Unique terms:
Prisoners may be exchanged for techs (think of it as interrogation).
Market bans may be lifted for any resource (they have knowledge of the market after all)
Black spot may be lifted in exchange for a fortress (fishppl).
Cities may also be exchanged freely in alliance, to address shared victory supremacy weirdness when you’d have to take your ally’s capitol.
Fortresses remain more flexible in their terms of exchange than cities, though cannot be exchanged in cold war.
Stockpiles remain eligible for any treaty, or any proposal in peace or alliance.
Updated to align with ELCP:
"Most diplomatic treaties no longer generate diplomatic points for the diplomatic victory. Exceptions are tech trades, city trades, fortress trades, market ban removal, black spot removal and prisoner exchange."
