Created for Xcaliber’s August 2022 Designers Challenge

Built for CPU and weapon limits.
One Backward Thruster is slightly obstructed, but visible.

This is the Mark IV Upgrade of my Kronos Dreadnought.

The Kronos MK IV is a Dreadnought intended for situations where you have more CPU available than possible under the default settings in Reforged Eden. E.g. if you are on a server that has the soft cap on quantum cores disabled or some server-specific CPU Upgrades. The base-version can be brought in within the default cap, but it will be rather limited in what it can engage without upgrades.

It is heavily armored, which makes it sloooow. And inefficient under the current META.

Upgrade space allows to bring it up to the maximum that RE allows in terms of shield upgrades. There is also space for up to 3 Fusion cores, standard it comes with one. Power is borderline ok while charging, low redline under thruster-boost while charging the shield.

Weapon upgrades allow for additional turrets and weapons, as well as up to 10 MX-4 Torpedo launchers. Which I strongly advise against using, until they get buffed. A spinal mounted Railgun can be added as well.

Speaking of which, while the ship is far from being an efficient fighter, it is filled to the brim with pretty things, i.e. RP Value.

As a little funfact: If you want to turn this into something that is capable of hunting Toveras out of the box, you can replaceblocks the armor with plastic, remove a lot of the thrusters and add shield upgrades. Armor tanking currently sucks for fighting Zirax 8[

Update: 27.08.2022: Changed weapon layout to a long range setup. Should make it easier to fight while not at the high CPU end.
