The Eclipse X is a modified version of my Eclipse CV that focuses fully on upgradeability. The outer hull is weaker armored (steel VS hardened steel), which leads to less weight and higher mobility. But also means you will have slightly increased risk once shields run out, so be mindful not to get flanked by a CV in shieldless situations. The Bow is still armored and has decoys.
Especially when used without upgrades early on against Drones the Bow armor helps a lot and the ship can and should be used as an armor tank, at least until you have added some shield upgrades and additional guns.
Out of the box it comes with a weapon setup tailored against drones, especially Nullifiers. Shield is somehat solid from the start (19.8k), but the real power comes once you upgrade the ship. The Eclipse X can be upgraded to a point where it eats Toveras without any issues.

Note: CV Rapid fire Torpedo Markings are at the bottom of the ship. Placing a torpedo launcher there will interfere with landing. Ravien is aware and is looking into the issue. I will leave it for now as it is and see whether he comes up with a solution.
