Arthur M Anderson of Great Lakes Fleet 1952
Arthur M Anderson is a real great lakes freighter that spends her time hauling ore and braving rough superior storms. She was built in 1952 by American Ship Building Company in Lorain Ohio. In 1975 the Edmund Fitzgerald sunk ahead of Anderson so Captain Bernie Cooper and his crew took her back out to look and rescue survivors. She still sails today under CN rails Great Lakes Fleet.
