After the very successful PRR S2 turbine locomotive (thanks to you all), I decided to start working on a second american steam locomotive, the PRR S-1 Duplex Steam Locomotive.
I really like the PRR S1 locomotive, such an incredible piece of engineering with it’s characteristic duplex drive wheels.
I tried to made this loco as easy as possible to drive.
I made everything concerning the steam engine automaticaly managed so you have no chance of boiler overpressure, explosion or overheat (but you still need to put coal and refill boiler with water).
To start the boiler you only have to turn on the key on the top of the firebox.
On the righ side of the firebox you can switch on the water pumps to refill the boiler.

In-game :
- Manufacturing : 100% vanilla components (no .xml edited or modded parts)
- Spawn : can be spawned on all vanilla workbenches
- Mass : around 17000 blocks
- Power : enough torque to move a heavy passenger train at reasonable speed
- Max speed (empty) : around 51 mph
- Max speed (heavy train) : around 40 mph
